Open HiClip and tap the plus button on the Projects screen. Choose Photos, Files, or paste a video link. Set the clip duration and output language, then start analysis. Processing runs on the server, so you can close the app and come back later.

HiClip is currently an iPhone app with a native iOS interface and system integrations. This website is for product information, help, and legal documents, not web-based editing.

Import MOV, MP4, and M4V videos from iPhone Photos or Files, or paste a YouTube or Bilibili link. Link import availability depends on whether the operator has enabled that platform.

No, unless you own the rights or have permission from the rights holder. Films, TV shows, sports, paid courses, other creators’ videos, and reposted content may not be uploaded, processed, exported, or published without authorization. Editing, removing watermarks, changing subtitles, speeding up footage, or “re-cutting” it does not grant you a license, and the uploader is responsible for the consequences.

A single video can be at most 2 hours. Trim the section you want to analyze in Photos or another editor first, then import it into HiClip.

Processing time depends on video length, the current queue, and the services used. Tasks run in the background on the server; closing the app does not interrupt them. Check the project list for progress and come back to review later.

To avoid repetition and broken context, HiClip filters clips that are not standalone, fall outside the duration range, or overlap heavily with other candidates. A low-density video can produce fewer than 8 candidates.

Choose Extend on the review card or open the adjust screen, then drag the in and out points on the timeline. Automatic snapping prefers natural sentence boundaries. Saving applies the adjusted version to export.

Choose 9:16, 1:1, 16:9, 4:5, or the original aspect ratio; 1080p or 720p; and clean, bold, or no captions. Vertical framing can use automatic subject tracking to keep people in frame.

Check your connection, then retry the export from the finished clips screen. If it keeps failing, email support with the project number, export time, and error message. Diagnostics do not include video, audio, or transcript text unless you attach it.

Connect a YouTube or Instagram account under Social accounts, then publish during export. Platforms may require professional accounts, specific permissions, or processing time; the app shows only the title and visibility fields each platform supports.

Open Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on your iPhone, or use Manage subscription from the Account & Plan screen in the app. After cancellation, benefits remain available until the end of the current period.

Open Account & Plan → Delete user in the app. Deletion permanently removes your account, projects, and files. Cancel your App Store subscription first, because deleting the account does not cancel it.

No. Source video, previews, and exports are stored privately and accessed through time-limited signed links. Other users cannot see your projects unless you export, share, or publish them yourself.

Beyond what is necessary to provide the service, we do not use your video, audio, transcript, clip information, or review history to train general-purpose AI models for other users. See the privacy policy for the full rule.

Deleting a project or account removes or anonymizes the related information. Backup rotation can delay removal of copies held in backups; during that time they are retained only for storage and security and are removed when the backup rotates.
